This place has AMAZING FOOD. Very nice to have some of my home lands food. Especially while I’m preggy. I’m having family come into town this weekend and I have been telling them all about this food truck and told them we are coming here for dinner when they get here so they can try it out for themselves! Plus it smells soooo good. Currently waiting for my food to get done while writing this review. Can’t wait to dig in! Here’s a photo of what I ordered! 😍😍😍
BOCA Latin Kitchen is located inside The Garden at Palafox + Main. Pictured is the Patacones con Carne and a side of Yuca Fries (Yuca Fries are like nacho cheese fries except better!) Unbelievably good and so happy we tried BOCA! Carne is shredded beef and patacones are green plantains cut into thick slices, fried until tender, then mashed into circles and refried, and those are under all of the delicious meat and cheese and other toppings. So good! Thank you!
Yuca fries and pepitos are delicious! Definitely need some utensils but the food is super flavorful and a little heavy which makes it great with some booze.
The owner is awesome and they always provide great customer service whenever we visit. Their food is always delicious so you can expect flavor consistency. The empanadas are delicious and the shell is soft puffy corn based yumminess with plenty of meat with delicious herbs. I'd recommend the yuca loca, tequeños, and the patacon.
This place has the BEST TASTING FOOD. My sister and I ordered the Pepitos (chicken & beef mixed) and Patacon (beef), both delicious. The Pepitos was both our favorites, the flavor is indescribably, it was like a party for my taste buds. The next time I visit Pensacola, this will be my go to food spot.
Nice little spot for some Venezuelan street food. The arepas and empanadas are truly freshly made. You can taste the freshness when you bite into it. I have only been to Venezuela once, but this is the food I recall from that trip, so its authentic. Note that this place is semi-outdoors, so no air conditioning. The roof and big fans are OK in cooler months. For me, though, I can't go in the heat of summer. Tough to enjoy the great food in heat and humidity.
Yuca loca and chicken empanada were fresh and AMAZING!!! So glad we came to the The Garden, Pensacola’s food truck park. I chose the Latin truck Boca and my daughter loved the empanada!
Dude! Mr. Pollo has a relative restaurant downtown in Al Fresco and it’s just as amazing! I saw the ad on Facebook yesterday and made it a point to get by here TODAY!!!! We got the Arepa Pelua, Pepito Mixed and Tequeños. Make sure to try the Arepa Pelua with the sauce provided for a great flavor combination. The Pepito was super yummy with the chicken and steak with peppers and onions....like absolutely delicious!! The Tequeños are basically Venezuelan cheese sticks. Again, yum. We will definitely be back and it’s now on my list of favorites in Pensacola.
